Registration* ON NOW!: Saturday 3rd October – Thursday 16th October
*To receive access to the SCRAP YOUR PANTS CONTESTANT Forum which will have competition tips and other information you may need, you need to register your interest in the 'REGISTRATION' thread in the Scrap Your Pants off forum

Duration of comp: Friday 17th October – Sunday 29th November
6 NON-ELIMANTAION ROUNDS and then a SCRAP OFF between the top 3 or 4 in the 7th week to determine the Winner

Prizes
1st Prize: 3 month subscription to the ArtyPants Main Kit, 15% discount off all other purchases (for 3 months) AND a guest Design Team spot for December and January
2nd Prize: 3 month subscription to the ArtyPants ADD ON Kit and 15% discount of all other purchases (for 3 months)


Weekly Prizes:

Challenge Twist: Awarded to the contestant who gets the most votes each week. They will receive the following weeks challenge 1 day early AND add one more criteria giving them an edge.



OTHER PRIZES: Store vouchers, ArtyPants products & RAKS are all up for grabs and awarded by the DT & GDT. They will be voting for prize winners based on CONSISTENCY, IMPROVEMENT, SKILL and OVERALL DESIGN so even if you aren't leading on the leaderboard, you are still in with a chance for a smaller prize.

Participation in challenge games set by the DT & GDT, regular forum posting and participation and uploading non-challenge layouts to the gallery may also attract prizes and RAK as determined by the DT each week.

All prizes will be sent within 2 weeks unless otherwise notified.

How it works

• On the Friday of each week. One of the ArtyPants Design Team will post a challenge and you will have until Midnight the following Sunday (so 9 days) to upload your entry into the 'SCRAP YOUR PANTS OFF section in the gallery. Please add your entry into the correct week.
• Between Monday and Wednesday is voting time. Votes need to be PM'd to the DT running that weeks challenge. Anyone who is an ArtyPants Forum Member (apart from DT & GDT) is eligible and encouraged to vote. (Please only 1 vote per person)
• Voting is confidential. Only the DT receiving the voting PMs will know who has voted for who each week.
• There will be a public leaderboard but it will not be made public who is winning the leaderboard (only the weekly updated tally will be displayed, names will not). Only the weekly challenge winner will be revealed (who may or may not be winning the overall leaderboard)
• Chat and gallery comments/uploads also add to your tally.
• On Thursday, the winner of that week is announced and they are sent via PM of what the next challenge is and can add their twist. This must be PM'd to the DT in charge that week no later than 5pm Friday so the new challenge can be announced by 7.30pm (or thereabouts)... (This is the prize for being the winner of that week's challenge so think how to use it to best benefit you in the competition).
• The 7th week will be a SCRAP OFF between the top 3 or 4 participants (depending on how many people participate). The top 3 or 4 as decided via the vote system with the WINNER then being decided by DT and GDT.
• All contestants will be able to get a Scrap Your Pants Off blinkie from the Contestant forum to display on personal blogs, forum signatures and elsewhere (where allowed)
• To make it to the final SCRAP OFF round, contestants must complete all 6 weeks of challenges by their due date. You do not need to complete any of the mini challenges along the way or chat on the forum but as these all give bonus points, they may be necessary to make it through.
• If you are chosen as the winner, you will also be invited to be a GDT for December and January. As a GDT for those 2 months, you will be sent products to work with and upload to the gallery and you will need to be an active member of the forum, chatting, posting topics and organising a challenge during the cybercrops. At least 1 blog post will also be required. It is the winners responsibilty to make sure this will not conflict with any other DT commitments. (More information will be available to the winner) You can still be crowned winner even if you can not become a GDT because of conflicting commitments
• Our Monthly Kits are available in the first week of each month. The winners kits will be sent free of charge and postage within 2 weeks of going on sale for each of the 3 months.
• 15% discount applies to ALL products instore including SALE items (Postage will still be charged at normal rate of $6.00) If you'd like any products sent with your FREE kits, then they will be sent POSTAGE FREE
• Please do not post your challenge entries to personal blogs until after the weekly winners have been announced. Sneak peeks can be uploaded before hand. All entries must be visible on our gallery for the duration of the competition. If they are accepted for publication, they can be removed afterwards. Please do not post your entries to other store galleries until after the whole competition has finished.
• You do not need to use products that are available in the ArtyPants store, however, products that CAN NOT be stocked by ArtyPants (eg: Stampin Up and products exclusive to other stores) can not be visible or reconizable as their products (eg: We're not going to kick you out of the comp if you used a Stampin Up ink pad instead of a Staz On or one of their punches instead of one we would stock etc. but one of Stampin Up's stamps would be reconizable as their's so therefore not allowed)
• Current ArtyPants Design and Guest Design Team members are not eligible to enter and be awarded prizes but may take part in the challenges 'Just for fun'. Any non competition-registered forum members may also take part 'just for fun' but please just upload your entries to the member galleries so as not to confuse the voters

Hey, while I think of it are all the challenges going to be LOs? Or are there going to be opportunities to do OTP and digi-layouts too?

All the criteria's will open to interpretation unless otherwised stated (some are specific layouts) so if you choose to do a digi or OTP or traditional etc. is up to you!
